Job Description
TRC is currently seeking a Survey Technician to join our team in Virginia Beach, VA.
Position Summary / Job Duties:
Individual must be able to perform the following duties.
Use of AutoCAD & Carlson Survey to process survey data & develop base mapping.
Produce finished survey deliverables including but not limited to topographic, ALTA, boundary & utility surveys.
Produce survey plats.
Develop construction stakeout upload files and hard sheets for survey crews.
Effectively communicate with internal & external stakeholders and team members.

Requirements
Qualifications / Required Training, Experience, Education and/or Skills:
Preferred Minimum of 3 years of Survey Technician / CAD experience. Experienced with topographic, ALTA, and boundary surveys using AutoCAD & Carlson Survey.
Ability to understand construction plans
Requires knowledge of both survey technology and basic civil engineering concepts.
Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
Good written and verbal communication skills, good mechanical, and computer skills.
A valid drivers license is required
