This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of AcuityMD. We are currently looking for a Data Engineer, Data and Intelligence Products in the United States.

This role offers the opportunity to shape and enhance data products that drive actionable insights for the healthcare and medical technology sector. You will work with large, complex datasets, transform raw data into reliable and interpretable intelligence, and contribute to building new data products that directly impact client success. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will design solutions, implement robust pipelines, and ensure the quality and accuracy of data outputs. This is a fast-paced, high-growth environment where creativity, problem-solving, and data-driven thinking are key. The role provides autonomy, exposure to modern data technologies, and the ability to make measurable contributions to product and business outcomes.

Accountabilities

• Build, refine, and maintain data products and intelligence pipelines that deliver actionable insights for end users.
• Transform and integrate raw data from multiple sources into structured, high-quality, and well-documented datasets.
• Design and implement validation frameworks, statistical benchmarks, and quality checks to ensure accuracy and interpretability.
• Collaborate closely with product managers and cross-functional teams to develop new data products and enhance existing ones.
• Document technical concepts, data schemas, and product usage guidelines for internal stakeholders.
• Develop batch data pipelines using Python and SQL, ensuring scalability, reliability, and automation of quality controls.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in a data or analytical role, building data products or performing quantitative analysis.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to apply math and statistics to real-world data problems.
• Proficiency in Python for data transformation and pipeline development.
• Experience with SQL and relational database management, including exploring, transforming, and analyzing data.
• Excellent communication skills, able to translate technical concepts and data insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced, and growth-oriented environment.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Familiarity with BigQuery, Google Cloud Storage, dbt, Dagster, or similar data stack tools.
• Knowledge of healthcare industry data and associated concepts.
• Experience with dimensional modeling and building reproducible, high-quality datasets.
