We are seeking an entry-level Facilities Administrator with basic handyman skills to join our team. This role involves various maintenance tasks including plumbing, painting, patching, and building inspections. You will also assist in light pressure washing, hanging pictures, and opening up buildings. This is a unique facilities position that offers the opportunity to work onsite at a globally known tech company.
Responsibilities
+ Perform basic handyman tasks such as plumbing and painting.
+ Conduct ceiling and tile inspections, as well as general building inspections.
+ Assist with hanging pictures, light dish work, and pressure washing.
+ Open and prepare buildings for use, ensuring they are ready and operational.
+ Utilize a ticketing system for maintenance requests and updates.
+ Communicate effectively with clients and team members.
+ Restock supplies such as paper and pens as needed.
Essential Skills
+ Basic handyman skills including plumbing and painting.
+ Good communication skills with a client-facing approach.
+ Ability to work with hand tools and simple power tools.
+ Proficiency in computer skills for handling emails and ticketing systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ High school graduates ready to train.
+ Experience in patching and painting is an advantage.
+ Administrative support and customer service experience.
Work Environment
This is an onsite position, working Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, with minimal overtime. Each technician is assigned to a specific building and provided with tools and a laptop. The role requires collaboration with a team of seven technicians under supervision. You will be part of a supportive team, working together to maintain the facility's operations efficiently.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr.
